[death cab for cuties....]

Can you actually die from viewing cuteness?

No, really. Can you?

Cause honestly, I know the whole 'my kids are the cutest kids in the world' parental confusion thing...I'm trying to look at this objectively.

But just look at these two! Are you dying, yet?

On the left, we have Charlie Bella. In the sink, we've got Roxie Tyler. Can you even imagine that they are even cuter and cuddly-er in real life?!? CUTER! CUDDLY-ER! I mean, I woke up to these faces today!

---------

Last night I worked at Cosi and throughout my shift one thing kept me going...the promise of cheap beer pitchers at Froggy with geelite. Now I know what you're thinking. Froggy used to be cool but now it's kinda lame. But OH NO, my friends. Froggy is now what I would consider a perfect cheap night out, especially after a long grueling week. But it wasn't just the twinkling white lights, $7.95 Miller Lite and fantastic frog murals that kept us so comfortably cheerful all night...it was....are you ready?

The Salt n' Pepa jams that kept us rockin'.

  1. none of yo business
  2. shoop
  3. whatta man
and that's all I have to say about that. geelite and k, rockin' out for all the college kiddies who know nothing of our youth in the mid-90s. rock on, g...rock on.

oh, and just for one more taste of death on this Saturday afternoon:

[the year of the tom...cat]

Sexuality. Scientology. Scandal. His name is tom cruise and he is seemingly off the charts. There are actual websites dedicated to His Craziness. In a year, he has publicly professed his love of 'this woman' [aka KATE Holmes], proposed to her atop the Eiffel Tower, and as of this month, had a child with her. Despite all of this and the scandalous stories, fake baby rumors and alleged payoffs, I am fascinated by the man. His movies entertain. So what if he jumps on couches. The man has energy. The man is full of life. The man has tons of money to fly around the world and do crazy adventurous things. The man is a mystery. Gay or straight, human or alien, I love his work. Love it. And the fact that he could be insane just makes him that much cooler.

In honor of Mr. Cruise, I have prepared a Tom Cruise Movie Marathon for The Boyfriend and I courtesy of netflix:

  • Days of Thunder
  • Mission Impossible II
  • All The Right Moves
Tom Cruise.

The Man. The Movies. The Legend.

[a tribute to the leg warmer]

I was going to initiate this website with a welcome post that details my lack of blogging knowledge, my doubt in template choice, and my fear that suddenly I can no longer yell at tracie for not posting every 30 minutes [figuring out what to write is hard]...

So instead I present you with THIS:

a tribute to the leg warmer. It's true that these beauties are in my collection and that these are, in fact, my very calves. These warmers were knitted by the very skilled hands of my friend tracie who has encouraged me to take my first steps into bloghood with encouragement (and a little bit of verbal force). So thank you - tracie.

... and praise be to the leg warmer.
site:marotica has arrived at long last.
