Tomorrow is the big day. We are flying towards our 5 days of vacation in Milwaukee and Chicago and I cannot wait to relax, drink some beers and enjoy my new summer dresses. In preparation, I have bought a few new things:

• 2 new dresses from Urban
• Burt's Bees champagne hue all natural lip shimmer
• Avalon Organics all natural vitamin C sunscreen/lotion
• Aveeda curl enhancer
• A kickass pair of MIA shoes
• Finally, that pair of chucks (mine are black)
• A Tom's of Maine travel kit, so our all natural product kick won't veer off course while on the road.

Even more important than my recent purchases, my final critique in mosaics was yesterday. It went awesome! Professor loved my work and called it very 'sellable' which is, of course, the highest compliment! Here are some photos of me with my two favorite creations:

And though things must come to an end...classes must quit, smalti put away, studio buddies must go manage digs in foreign countries. Sigh. One thing is certain. There is always more beer to drink. There are always more art projects to create. There are planes to catch. People waiting to explore with you in other cities. There are second interviews a week from today with graphic design program heads to go over your course of study for the next three years. There are acceptance letters that better be in the mail. There are ends and there are beginnings.

And of course, there are always shoes.
