[new york, new goals]

Well, I'm finally in New York! Tim and I drove from MA yesterday and found Christina's kickass apartment in Tarrytown. It's the cutest little place and you can see the river across the street. Oh, and there are beautiful mansions right next door overlooking an amazing view! Her apartment is spacious and flowy and just really comfortable and cool.

Tim left shortly after dropping me off and headed back to DC, while Christina and I went to a place called Justin Thyme where we enjoyed brie potato skins, an amazing arugala salad and of course, a very dirty and olive-filled vodka martini. That gave me quite the buzz. Following dinner, we went to the liquor store where we proceeded to cause a scene for ten minutes while we stood at the counter and laughed hysterically over a rifle-shaped bottle of Polish vodka. We bought it, of course.

We came back to the apartment, made some drinks, and enjoyed an extensive dance party to Huey Lewis and the News, George Michael and Michael Jackson. I got pretty drunk and then we ate grilled cheese sandwiches from the diner. It was a great start to this new chapter of Winter Break.

On a completely different note, I have several new goals for the Spring Semester. Here's a brief list:

1 - Stop biting my nails
2 - Maintain clean apartment
3 - Organize all art supplies
4 - Practice moderation with everything
5 - Do even better in school
6 - Read more
7 - Make money
8 - Stay on top of my bills and expenses
9 - Cook more, eat healthier

I'm feeling really good about this semester and the spots I'm in. I think I can keep everything in balance and have a lot of fun, too. Wish me luck!
