[bouncy, random aka totally normal]

So, all-niters are my new thing. Yes, it's true. I've pulled more all-niters in the last 2 months than ever before in my life. School is over and there's no excuse for it, and yet, my system is all charged up for 'em. So keep 'em coming, I guess. At some point in the hopefully near future, I will actually get my act together. But why start now?

So my semester ended well and I have to say that I was so proud of my progress. Everything improved dramatically - not to say that I'm like some kickass perfect designer because obviously, I'm not. But let's just say that everything started to click. And now I'm a typography nerd.

Been chilling with the Shaadster and Jeneva like it's my religion. Drinking a lot of Woodchuck Cider and participating in activities that some might say are not necessarily healthy, but I figure you only live once and you're only a student as many times as you take out ENORMOUS student loans. So enjoy it. Or as the tagline for the newest Die Hard movie suggests, LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD. Ha, you gotta love Bruce Willis, no?

Am happy to hear that friends are doing well. Hot Tamales moved to Connecticut with her man and left the Office Box for good. tracie is embracing air conditioning, doggie love and bbq dreams in her new home. Running Guru Fred is rockin' the massage industry like there's no tomorrow. Official Running Buddy Jessica is officially coming back to this country from her year long stay in Israel. Tim is flying to Boston as we speak to pursue teaching gigs for the weekend. I am up late acquainting myself with my newly logged in Facebook account while taking breaks to work on random fun design doodlery.

Been working a lot at Bertooch and have actually been enjoying it a lot. Tips are improving and I've been able to prove my Rick James and Ike Turner trivia knowledge. I've also been eating a lot of Caesar salads and cream-heavy pizzas. Gina has a new blog: www.cavitydust.blogspot.com which chronicles her trials with the official worst stalker in the world and her freaky deaky artwork (which rocks by the way). You should definitely check it out.

Have I mentioned that I still love bacon?

And did you know that there's a fun little Peach Pit called Carvings across from the Statesman that sells really yummy coffee and lots of sandwiches. And has what must be the largest stock of beverages on the east coast? Yes - including Nantucket Nectars Half and Half - best drink ever!

Johnny Rockets officially opened in 2000 Penn on Monday and I was there for an opening day meal. Rocked it and rocked it again. I won't be surprised if I weigh 200,000,000 lbs before the summer is through! What kind of girl am I anyway - hello bikini weather?

Well that's my update for now. Scattered, I know. But I hope you missed me like I've missed you and that you are doing well and have bounce in your step when you're walking down the street.

Hope to talk to you soon, my friends!

Love, K.

Bacon you say. I cure my own bacon. It's hand cured in maple syrup and fresh cracked pepper. I miss you K. I hope we can get together soon. Life is shorter than you think.

I've missed you and glad to hear that you're enjoying your new life as a student...Wish I could turn back the clock sometimes so that I could ALSO do that. haha. CT is beautiful. Quiet, but good. Most things in our town close around 8ish...we haven't really been "out" but we've been hanging with the Man's Fam and they are awesome. The work situation will be interesting...another OFFICE BOX, but this time...well at least I'm being paid better and it comes with a fantastic gym downstairs that I plan on utilizing every morning. Miss ya girl. Take care and keep us updated!
